Residential
A variety of meal plans have been designed to accommodate the needs of all students.
All freshman and first year resident students on campus are required to participate in a meal plan. All students are automatically enrolled in the meal plan, however students have the opportunity to change their meal plans before the start of each semester.
Freshmen/transfer students must choose between the 19, 15, or 10 meal plan options. All changes are carried over to the next semester.
What's included?
Each meal plan includes meals, Dining Dollars on your Husky Card, and ten guest passes per semester. The Dining Dollars program allows you a variety of options. You have the flexibility of eating meals outside the residential dining rooms at other dining retail locations on and around the campus including the Curry Center Food Court. Each meal plan also comes with ten guest passes, so a friend or family member can dine with you. You can also use your Dining Dollars at the residential dining rooms if you have depleted your meals for the week. Dining Dollars and guest passes must be used within the semester. Meals are apportioned on a weekly basis.
How does it work?
Meal plans and dining dollars are accessed by your student identification, the Husky card. Each time you enter a dining room or visit a retail location, the system subtracts either a meal or the cost from your card. After each use, the balance of meals or dining dollars remaining appears on the terminal. The meal plan week runs from Sunday morning breakfast through Saturday evening dinner.
